About AltLaw
AltLaw is a free, open-source search engine for legal reference information. It was started in early 2007 as a joint venture of the Program on Law & Technology at Columbia Law School and the Silicon Flatirons Program at the University of Colorado Law School. See:
AltLaw had its first public release in August 2007. It is still a "beta" product under heavy development.
